The Department of Communication and Journalism in the College of Arts & Sciences at Texas A&M University invites applications for one, full-time Instructional Assistant or Associate Professor, starting August 1, 2025. This position is for 9-months, non-tenure accruing, and applicants will be considered for the faculty title of Instructional Assistant Professor or Instructional Associate Professor depending on qualifications. Responsibilities for the position include a teaching load of three courses per semester, development and management of course requirements for Public Speaking, Technical Speaking, and Argumentation & Debate, and instructional training for incoming PhD students for these same courses.The Department of Communication and Journalism offers PhD, MA, BA, and BS degrees, and has over 40 faculty members, more than 40 graduate students, and over 1,700 undergraduate students. Qualifications

Master's degree in Communication or related discipline and significant teaching experience at the college level in public speaking and/or argumentation are required. Ph.D. in Communication or related discipline is strongly preferred.
