- Remuneration: $94,099 to $106,134 pa (HEW5) (inclusive of $79,514 to $89,685 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)

Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Administration Officer to join Office of the Vice-Chancellor and President, Chancellery Division.
With a front-of-house presence, the Administration Officer provides high-level administrative and operational support to the Office of the Vice-Chancellor, ensuring the efficient delivery of executive functions and the smooth coordination of day-to-day activities. This role is integral to maintaining the professionalism, responsiveness, and routine of the Vice-Chancellor’s office.

The Office of the Vice-Chancellor provides high-level strategic and operational support to the Vice-Chancellor, enabling effective leadership across the University. The team coordinates executive communications, manages key projects and initiatives, and ensures the smooth functioning of governance and decision-making processes. This role contributes to a dynamic environment that supports the Vice-Chancellor in advancing the University's vision and priorities.
What you need to succeed
- Education, training and/or experience equivalent to completion of a degree, or completion of an associate diploma with subsequent relevant work experience.
- Demonstrated digital literacy including experience in a range of software packages including word processing and large-scale databases.
- Demonstrated ability to use initiative, judgement and analytical skills to solve problems and manage competing priorities to deliver outcomes within agreed timelines.
- Highly effective written, verbal and digital communication skills with proven ability to prepare data summaries, reports and briefing notes, making use of visualisation techniques.
- Ability to work autonomously in an agile work environment and as part of a collaborative team focused on delivering a high standard of client service.
- Proven ability to manage time and high- volume tasks efficiently, as well as respond positively to unexpected challenges at short notice.
- Ability to handle and monitor sensitive information within a confidential environment.
