Job Summary
Serve as the principal administrative partner to the Chief Information Officer (CIO), ensuring seamless execution of executive-level operations. This role manages daily priorities, orchestrates high-stakes workflows, and leads administrative staff, enabling the CIO’s strategic focus and institutional leadership as a senior executive.
Job Duties
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide confidential and proactive administrative support to the CIO, including calendar management, communications, travel, and briefings.
- Lead and coordinate administrative professionals supporting the CIO’s office; assign work, monitor performance, and uphold professional standards.
- Track critical initiatives and ensure timely completion of institutional workflows (HR, Finance, Procurement, etc.) tied to the CIO’s authority.
- Plan and execute executive-level meetings, retreats, and events; prepare agendas, materials, minutes, and follow-ups.
- Liaise with executive offices and governance committees on behalf of the CIO, ensuring strategic alignment and coordination.
- Represent the CIO with discretion, professionalism, and precision in both internal and external interactions.
- Support special projects, cross-functional initiatives, and executive communication campaigns as assigned.
Requested Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience:
5+ years in administrative support with 2+ years supporting senior executives
Other Preferences for Consideration
Administrative Professional Certification (CAP) or equivalent
