Business Services Coordinator
Description of Work
The Business Services Coordinator position will support the Nebraska Center for Virology in operational aspects including financial support, event planning and office management. This position will help support the complex financial and budgetary needs of the center. This position also will independently coordinate and manage several key annual events and contribute to the development and ongoing support of a graduate student fellows program. The individual in this role will collaborate closely with departmental staff and central office personnel, demonstrating a high level of professionalism and customer service in all interactions. This position works under limited supervision and is expected to utilize advanced technologies to deliver professional, efficient service. This position is fully on-site; remote work is not permitted.

Minimum Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 2 years of related finance work experience; additional years of relevant experience or completed relevant education may substitute for required education/experience on a year-for-year basis. Experience with SAP or large integrated finance system. Proficiency in word processing, database management, spreadsheets, and presentation software (e.g., MS Office Suite).
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of federal and state laws and guidelines related to business practices. Knowledge of SAP. Experience in higher education.
