Remuneration: $158,080 to $165,606 (HEW9) (inclusive of $133,579 to $139,939 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)

Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Clinic Coordinator - Optometry to join Office of the Deputy Dean, Faculty of Health.
The QUT Health Clinics require an experienced Optometrist who is able to work with academic staff, sessional clinicians, students and clients/patients and manage the responsibilities of providing student placement and quality client care in a real-world clinical setting.

Real world experienced clinicians train students in quality healthcare, using advanced technology and current research evidence. QHC offers Optometry, Podiatry, Psychology and Counselling, Nutrition and Dietetics, Exercise Physiology and Eating Disorders clinics which provide interdisciplinary clinical care including extensive outreach services, Indigenous healthcare, aged care services, school screenings, and other community initiatives and collaborative services with external partnerships.
What you need to succeed
- Completion of a Masters degree qualification with extensive relevant experience as a practicing Optometrist with current AHPRA registration. Optometry Board of Australia and Therapeutic endorsement is essential.
- Proven effective leadership and management skills that drive teamwork, high performance, and excellence in service provision.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate, build and maintain relationships with staff and colleagues across all levels of the University and also with external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability in being flexible, innovative and creative in a health care setting.
- Demonstrated experience in supervision and assessment of students in clinical placement setting.
