Remuneration: $120,443 to $131,749 pa (HEW7) (inclusive of $101,775 to $111,330 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)

Location: Kelvin Grove (hybrid option available)

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a Digital Media Producer (Production Lead) to join Learning and Teaching Unit, Education Portfolio, Academic Division.

As Digital Media Producer (Production Lead), you will be responsible for supporting the QUT Curriculum Design Studios (CDS) in transforming educational practices and learning resources to enhance and support high quality curriculum aligned with QUT’s Real World Learning Vision and Quality Standards for Learning and Teaching. As a critical member of the Production team and under the leadership of the Production Manager, you will work collaboratively with CDS learning designers, staff from across the faculties, divisions, Digital Business Solutions and LTU to support the design and realisation of rich learning environments. This realisation includes the development of sustainable high quality educational resources that incorporate relevant and up to date educational technologies and practices.

What you need to succeed

  1. Education or training equivalent to completion of a degree in a relevant field with at least four (4) years subsequent relevant experience in digital media production, educational technologies and the production of higher education learning and course resources; or extensive experience and management expertise in technical or administrative fields; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  2. Proven experience in the design and production of complex digital media and educational resources.
  3. Proven experience coordinating multiple digital media projects and stakeholders simultaneously with competing deadlines to achieve agreed outcomes.
  4. Proven experience developing solutions for stakeholders with advanced digital media needs.
  5. Proven digital literacy and demonstrated experience using learning management systems, content management systems, content delivery platforms, authoring tools and other educational technologies.
  6. Proven high level of written and oral communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with a range of stakeholders across the university
