At the Leibniz Institute for Natural Product Research and Infection Biology (Leibniz-HKI), we investigate the pathobiology of microorganisms and develop new natural product-based active compounds for the treatment of infectious diseases. As part of the structured doctoral program International Leibniz Research School ILRS 2.0, we invite talented candidates to apply for

9 Doctoral Researcher (m/f/div) Positions for four years.

The collaborative projects aim to gain insights into the formation and function of microbial natural products, as well as into infection mechanisms of human pathogenic fungi and immune defense. We are looking for:

• Applicants with a master’s degree (or equivalent) in microbiology, immunology, biochemistry, or a related discipline; candidates about to obtain their degree are welcome to apply
• The candidates should be willing and able to work in an international, interdisciplinary research team
