"Head of Exhibitions and Public Programming - Grade 8"

We are seeking a Head of Exhibitions and Public Programmes to join our Cultural Heritage team including the Victoria Gallery and Museum (VGM), the Garstang Museum of Archaeology and Egyptology, and Special Collections and Archives based at the Sydney Jones Library.

You will work closely with the Deputy Director, and as part of their leadership team you will take a holistic approach to service, and be responsible for supporting, developing and influencing a range of professional and support staff.

This newly created role will require you to take a strategic approach to the development of audiences, embedding evaluation in all programming, and aligning our offer to our research environment goals. You will develop opportunities for public engagement with research, formal and informal learning, and support our positioning and partnerships as a unique cultural offer for the City Region.
