Who are we looking for?

We are seeking an International Future Student Advisor to join International, International and Business Development, Chancellery Division.

The International Future Student Advisor is responsible for providing outstanding customer service in a timely, personalised, and professional manner to enquiries from prospective international students and other stakeholders across a range of channels. The role is also responsible for outbound nurture care activity that directly supports key conversion activity goals established by the university.

What you need to succeed

1. Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to a degree in marketing/communications, digital and print communication, publishing or a related discipline with subsequent relevant experience.
2. Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, written communication and presentation skills and the ability to interact effectively and form working relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
3. Demonstrated ability to work under broad direction, exercise initiative in undertaking responsibilities and work effectively as a team member.
4. High level communication skills including the ability to develop effective working relationships across departmental boundaries.
5. Demonstrated ability to effectively interpret policies, procedures and student information to provide advice.
6. Demonstrated ability to answer, escalate, prioritise and redirect enquiries as necessary, with minimal guidance.
7. Demonstrated client service skills in a high-volume environment, with attention to detail.
