About the Role
This Lecturer in Foundational Sciences (Level B) position plays a key teaching-focused role within the SA Rural Medical (SARM) Program, contributing to the delivery of an innovative, student-centred Doctor of Medicine curriculum delivered across rural South Australia. Based in Mount Gambier, you will deliver high-quality teaching across Years 1 and 2, covering core biomedical disciplines, while applying contemporary pedagogy and education technologies to enhance the student experience.
Key aspects of the role include:
- Deliver engaging, high-quality teaching across foundational medical sciences (e.g. anatomy, physiology, pathology) within the SARM program
- Design, review and continuously improve curriculum and learning experiences using innovative and technology-enabled approaches
- Provide academic support, mentoring and guidance to students to enhance their learning, professional development and career readiness
- Contribute to academic coordination, quality assurance, and broader university and community engagement activities
