Position Summary

AUIB is seeking a dynamic and experienced Oracle Systems Engineer to drive its mission of Oracle Cloud maintenance and development. In this pivotal role, the Oracle Systems Engineer will Manage all Oracle Cloud Infrastructure OCI - IaaS, PaaS and SaaS services and all related Oracle Applications (Fusion, WebCenter, and PeopleSoft Campus Solution. Key Responsibilities

1. Manage all Oracle Cloud Infrastructure IaaS, PaaS and SaaS services.
2. Monitor database performance to ensure it meets business requirements
3. Perform regular health checks on Database, and overall systems testing.
4. Ensure backup successful completion.
5. Provide the support needed to solve oracle databases technical issues.
6. Follow up with Oracle support on raised issues and tickets.
7. Convert business requirements into detailed system design and technical specifications.
8. Develop and create interfaces from various applications within and outside of Oracle.
9. Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing Oracle software

1. Must have good interpersonal and strong communication skills.
2. Be adaptable and able to pick up new techniques.
3. Proactive, analytical, creative thinker, problem solver.
4. Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a dynamic work environment.
5. Fluent in English, and Arabic; French is a good plus

Education and Experience

1. Computer Sciences (BS), or in Computer Software Engineering
2. And/or a professional Oracle certification
3. Master’s degree would be a good plus
4. 3+ years of experience within the Oracle domain.
