About the Executive Learning Unit
The Executive Learning Unit (ELU) plays a key role in advancing Bond University’s strategic objectives by fostering the growth and development of executive education and microcredential initiatives. We partner across all disciplines to deliver high-quality professional learning experiences that meet the evolving needs of business, industry, and the broader community. The ELU provides vital support for the design, development, and delivery of executive education programs and microcredentials. The team also manages the Bond Learner Platform and oversees quality and governance for all executive learning activity at Bond.
About the Position
We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Project and Events Coordinator to support the delivery and growth of Bond University’s executive education programs. In this dynamic role, you will coordinate programs and events, manage client and learner enquiries, and provide high-level administrative and financial support to ensure an exceptional participant experience. You will also contribute to marketing and promotional initiatives, working closely with the Marketing Manager and Unit Director to enhance Bond’s executive learning presence in Brisbane.
Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to support the delivery of executive education programs and events.
This is a fast-paced and varied role, ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, takes initiative, and enjoys delivering high-quality results with professionalism and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the planning, delivery, and evaluation of executive learning programs and events.
- Liaise with clients, facilitators, and internal stakeholders to ensure high-quality program delivery.
- Support marketing and promotional activities, including social media and content generation.
- Manage enquiries, bookings, and CRM communications with professionalism and efficiency.
- Assist with financial processing, invoicing, and supplier coordination.
- Oversee venue operations at Bond Brisbane, including logistics, catering, and on-site coordination.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to continuous quality enhancement.
Please note this position is based at the Bond Brisbane Office.
About the person
You will be a self-starter with strong organisational and interpersonal skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and engaging confidently with diverse stakeholders. You’ll bring a mix of administrative, event, and project coordination experience, along with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
Essential skills and experience:
- Degree qualification and/or 3–5 years’ relevant experience in education, events, or administration.
- Proven ability to plan and deliver events and manage competing priorities.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Sound judgement, professionalism, and the ability to work independently.
- Strong computer literacy and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Salary details
The base salary for the position commences at $85,544.83 per annum, plus 12% superannuation.
Please note: The fixed term of this employment contract will be for up to one year, with twelve months' probation. The prospect of conversion to a continuing employment contract will be discussed at the end of the contract term.
