Remuneration: $158,080 to $165,606 pa (HEW9) (inclusive of $133,579 to $139,939 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)
Location: Gardens Point (hybrid option available)

Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Regional Manager (China) to join International, International and Business Development, Chancellery Division.
The Regional Manager (China) is responsible for management and leadership of the marketing, recruitment, business and partnership development activities in the region, including the achievement of recruitment targets. This role will work in collaboration with other regional managers and the Head of International Relations.

What you need to succeed
- Completion of a postgraduate degree in Business, Marketing or International Business and extensive relevant experience in management and international student recruitment, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience, education and/or training.
- Demonstrated experience in the interpretation of complex policy, legislation, compliance, and Australian regulatory framework requirements for international student recruitment and admissions.
- Ability to connect and collaborate to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience establishing relationships with Chinese partners/institutions that support marketing and business development opportunities, including the development of strategic documents.
- Demonstrated high level interpersonal skills, including the ability to clearly consult, negotiate and liaise with stakeholders and senior managers both internal and external to the organisation, in a professional and culturally sensitive manner.
- Demonstrated experience in managing a budget in accordance with financial policies and delegations.
- Experience in innovative leadership of a small team to drive business outcomes.
