About the Role
As a Research Project Support Worker, you’ll provide technical and administrative support across a range of health-related research projects. You’ll help keep projects on track by coordinating key activities, supporting data collection and management, and ensuring research outputs are accurate and timely.
You’ll also work closely with researchers; project leads and external partners to strengthen collaboration and streamline processes—contributing to real-world outcomes through high-impact research.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with stakeholders to support effective project delivery.
- Supporting research activities including general admin, transcription, presentation preparation, and approval processes.
- Assisting with research reports, grant applications and publications to ensure accuracy and timely submission.
- Coordinating data collection and ensuring the right tools, equipment, and approvals are in place for each project.
- Managing research data securely and efficiently to support analysis and reporting.
- Adhering to Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements and helping maintain a safe working environment.
What You’ll Bring
- Relevant qualifications and/or experience aligned to the Higher Education Worker Level for this role.
- Experience in qualitative and/or quantitative health-related research.
- Understanding of scientific processes and procedures, especially related to research reporting and publications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building effective working relationships.
- Ability to manage tasks of moderate complexity and work collaboratively to achieve project goals.
