- Base salary will be in the range $95,361.62 - $102,302.92 + 17% super (HEW Level 6)

About This Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced, motivated, energetic and highly organised Senior Administration Officer to support the effective and efficient operation of the International Programs unit within the School of the Environment.
The primary purpose of the position is to provide a wide range of senior administrative services to support the effective and efficient operation of the International Programs unit. Key tasks include document management; providing interpretation, advice and decisions on rules and policy; coordinating office-related financial and procurement processes; liaising with internal and external stakeholders; and providing administrative subject matter expertise as relevant to the role and function.
This role involves domestic travel and may require occasional work outside standard business hours, including evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Designs and delivers a range of administrative processes and activities in consultation with the International Partner Programs Coordinator, to meet the identified business requirements.
- Plans and implements high-quality administrative systems, standard operating procedures and office protocols to support a range of activities that support the International Programs.
- Highly adept and guides others in the application of a range of desktop-based programs and management information systems.
- Respond to complex or non-routine inquiries which may require interpreting policy, procedures and entitlements as relevant to the role.
- Liaises with internal and external stakeholders to build and maintain relationships which support the operational objectives of the International Programs.
- Undertakes financial administration responsibilities, including exercising the appropriate financial delegation and processing payments in accordance with University policy and procedures.
- Coordinates travel arrangements, including field trip planning; travel administration and post-travel reconciliation; and risk assessment and travel compliance, in line with UQ health, safety and wellness protocols.
- Contributes to the effective delivery of events and engagement activities that align with course schedules and support the successful coordination of the overall programs.
