AUIB is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Graphic Designer to drive its mission of advancing innovation and education through powerful and consistent visual communication. In this pivotal role, the Senior Graphic Designer will lead creative design initiatives, develop campaign visuals, uphold CEID’s brand identity, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage production processes. Key Responsibilities

1. Creative Design Leadership: Lead the development of creative concepts and visual assets for promotional campaigns, academic materials, events, and branding initiatives.
2. Brand Identity Management: Uphold and refine CEID’s visual identity, ensuring consistent application across all media and communication materials.
3. Collaborative Visual Strategy: Partner with marketing, multimedia, and content teams to design compelling graphics that support CEID’s strategic goals.
4. Production & Print Coordination: Design a wide range of materials from social media posts to printed brochures and oversee production with vendors to ensure quality output.
5. Project Management & Innovation: Handle multiple design projects efficiently, meet tight deadlines, and stay updated on design trends, tools, and technologies.

Ideal Candidate Profile

1. Advanced Design Skills: Mastery of design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop with strong typography and layout abilities.
2. Strategic Thinking: Understands how design supports branding, communication goals, and user engagement.
3. Leadership & Initiative: Takes ownership of creative projects and guides junior designers when necessary.
4. Communication Skills: Effectively presents and explains design ideas to team members and stakeholders.
5. Trend Awareness: Stays updated on design trends, ensuring CEID’s visuals remain fresh and relevant.

Education and Experience

• Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
• Years of Relevant Experience: Minimum of 5 years in professional graphic design, with preference for experience in academic or institutional settings.
• Specific Skills or Expertise: Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop); strong knowledge of typography, layout, branding, and cross-platform design; experience with Figma or Canva is a plus.
• Additional Certifications: Certifications in design software or branding are advantageous.
