- Remuneration: $120,443 to $131,749 pa (HEW7) (inclusive of $101,775 to $111,330 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)
- Location: Kelvin Grove (hybrid option available)

Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Senior Student Records Specialist to join Student Administration, People Services, Administrative Division.
The Senior Student Records Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of student information across the full student lifecycle. This position is responsible for maintaining high-quality records, analysing data to provide strategic insights, and ensuring that recordkeeping practices meet institutional, regulatory, and legislative requirements. The Senior Student Records Specialist contributes to process improvement and digital transformation initiatives, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance the student experience. This role requires strong attention to detail, analytical capability, and a proactive approach to compliance and data governance. By ensuring reliable records and providing meaningful insights, the Senior Student Records Specialist directly supports effective decision-making and contributes to the university’s commitment to service excellence and student success.

Student Administration makes a key contribution to the delivery of student services that span the student lifecycle: admission, enrolment, student fees, timetable management and class registration, examinations, results, records management, progression and graduation. The department supports international, domestic and research higher degree students, in collaboration with specialist service partners across the university..
What you need to succeed
- Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to completion of a degree with extensive relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience in student records management or a related administrative environment, with a strong commitment to maintaining accuracy, integrity, and compliance across information systems.
- Demonstrated ability to provide specialised advice, manage complex and sensitive matters, interpret policies and guidelines, and prepare professional and effective communications to a wide range of stakeholders.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret student data, identify trends and risks, and provide insights that support policy, planning, and process improvements.
- Experience contributing to process and system improvements, particularly in digital environments, with a focus on streamlining operations and enhancing the student experience.
- Proven digital literacy skills and office information technology with experience in the use of a large corporate information system including interpreting, accessing, inputting, compiling and reporting on data for a range of stakeholders.
