The Center for Language Education (CLE) is looking for a high caliber to fill the position of Teaching Associate. The appointee will play a pivotal role in the teaching of English courses and serve as a key facilitator and administrator within the Centre. Main responsibilities include creating, refining and assessing the course materials and exercises, providing constructive feedback on students’ assignments, and offering support to students to their learning paths and course management when necessary. The appointee will also be responsible for the selection of appropriate teaching methodologies, resources, and tools to enhance the students’ learning experience. They will evaluate the curriculum’s efficacy by gathering feedback and reviewing student performance and conduct necessary adjustments to optimize learning outcomes. Besides, the appointee will be actively involved in student activities that aimed at bolstering participants' English language proficiency and communication skills. They will be expected to liaise with student bodies, internal departments and external organizations.
Applicants should have a bachelor's degree in English language education or any equivalent postgraduate qualification with prior teaching or relevant experience. Proficiency in English, coupled with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, is essential. Applicants should be self-starters who can work autonomously and collaboratively within a team setting. Shortlisted candidate(s) may be required to give a presentation or micro-teaching as part of the evaluation process. (Duration: 2 years)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
