Weather and Climate at ULS

The University of Lower Silesia of the Association for the Advancement of Education in Wroclaw experiences a humid continental climate with distinct seasonal variations. Winters are cold with temperatures often dropping below 0°C (32°F), while summers can be warm, reaching up to 25°C (77°F). The region receives moderate rainfall throughout the year, with occasional heavy snow in winter.

• Winter: Cold, with temperatures ranging from -5°C to 5°C (23°F to 41°F). Snowfall can affect commuting and campus life.
• Summer: Warm, with temperatures between 15°C to 25°C (59°F to 77°F). Ideal for outdoor research and activities.
• Spring and Autumn: Mild, with temperatures fluctuating between 5°C to 15°C (41°F to 59°F). These seasons are transitional and can be unpredictable.

Extreme weather conditions like heatwaves or severe storms are rare but can occur.
