University of Saint Mary of the Lake Mundelein Seminary Campuses

The Mundelein Campus is the sole location of the University of Saint Mary of the Lake/Mundelein Seminary, a premier Catholic institution dedicated to priestly formation, theological scholarship, and lay ministry training. Grounded in encounter-based formation inspired by Jesus Christ, it integrates academic excellence, spiritual growth, and practical pastoral experience to equip seminarians, deacons, and lay leaders for effective service in the Church.

• Theology: Pontifical Faculty offers Baccalaureate (S.T.B.), Licentiate (S.T.L.), and Doctorate (S.T.D.) in Sacred Theology, with advanced study in dogmatic, moral, and systematic theology.
• Priestly Formation: Mundelein Seminary's Configuration program (Master of Divinity) and Discipleship (pre-theology) emphasize philosophy, Scripture, and internships.
• Liturgy and Sacraments: Master of Arts in Liturgy (MAL) and Liturgical Studies (MALS), focusing on liturgical history, theology, and celebration.
