Wessel Myburgh, also known as Marthinus Wessel Myburgh, is a microbiologist affiliated with Stellenbosch University. He completed a co-tutelle PhD at Stellenbosch University and the Università degli Studi di Padova in Italy. He serves as a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Microbiology at Stellenbosch University. Myburgh is the co-founder and CEO of Urobo Biotech, a biotechnology company.
