Metapilot Academy’s Bachelor programs are intentionally broad and interdisciplinary. Students receive a comprehensive overview of AI and artificial intelligence, defense and aerospace engineering, robotics, biotech and neurobiology before choosing their own focus area. Our central Barcelona campus offers a high‑energy environment surrounded by startups, labs and international organizations, complemented by our Bucharest campus for students who want exposure to emerging deep‑tech ecosystems.…
Bachelor students who excel can present projects and prototypes at our graduation showcase in Schönbrunn Palace, Vienna, in front of a curated audience of 100+ investors, recruiters and industry partners.
We offer hosting for Bachelor students and interns who:
- Wish to complete a Bachelor thesis or major project in one of our focus domains
- Want a deep‑tech, AI‑ and neurotech‑oriented internship alongside their studies
- Are prepared to use mobility grants, traineeship schemes or scholarships to finance their stay
Preferred profiles:
- Bachelor students in neuroscience, biology, biotechnology or related fields interested in neurotechnology
- Bachelor students in engineering (aerospace, mechanical, electrical, robotics, energy or climate‑related fields)
- Computer science and AI students wanting to work in aerospace, defense, mobility, robotics or biotech contexts
Illustrative topics and activities:
- AI, robotics and automation prototypes for aerospace, mobility or defense‑related scenarios
- Introductory neurotech and neurobiology projects that feed into higher‑level Master/PhD research
- Biotech‑oriented data analysis or simulation projects (e.g. brain, health or biological systems)
- Cross‑functional projects that combine AI, engineering and biotech with entrepreneurship
- Support for research, events, demo days and technical communication around our Vienna graduation showcase
Funding and academic status
Metapilot Academy does not provide direct funding for these Bachelor hosting positions. Students must either:
- Be enrolled at Metapilot Academy and supported via grants or scholarships, or
- Be enrolled at another university and use Erasmus+ or similar mobility/traineeship funding.
We can sign the necessary learning agreements, internship contracts or hosting agreements required by home universities and funding bodies, subject to academic and legal compliance.
