Salary: $1,000 per credit*

Reports to: Dean of Social Sciences & Humanities

Olympic College is recruiting an adjunct faculty to join the faculty and staff team in the Social Sciences & Humanities Division. The position will be part-time Korean Language faculty, teaching primarily Korean I, Korean II and Korean III. This position requires instruction with a day-time availability between the hours of 8:00 AM and 3:15 PM and evenings as required from 5:00 PM to 7:15 PM.

A comprehensive community college, we offer instruction in Basic Studies to include awarding a high school diploma, GED preparation, and English to Speakers of Other Languages; academic transfer and workforce education degrees and certificates; four applied baccalaureate degrees, and community education in our two-county region.

Essential Functions

Provide quality teaching, including related preparation, grading, and record keeping;
Provide class syllabi to students enrolled in classes by the first day of classes and to the division office as requested;
Identify individual learning needs of students and make appropriate adjustments in learning environments and activities to meet those needs;
Punctually communicate with students, faculty, staff and administrators;
Perform other related duties as assigned and/or required.
