Professional Experience/ Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of administrative experience including managing calendars, arranging travel, and managing expenses.
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to participate in occasional evening and weekend work to support Advancement's and the University's events including major events such as Reunion, Family Weekend, and Commencement, and provides additional event support as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a higher education or non-profit setting.
- Experience with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge or similar databases/CRMs.
Education
An Associate's degree is preferred or a combination of education and experience from which comparable skills are obtained.

Accountabilities
This role supports the planning, coordination, and execution of alumni engagement and annual giving marketing, programs, and events. The Coordinator provides logistical, administrative, and programmatic support for on-campus programming, regional events, reunions, leadership giving society activities, and Colgate Fund support to ensure a consistent and high-quality alumni experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate event logistics for alumni programs, including on-campus events, regional programs, reunions, CPNs, and leadership giving society events.
- Manage membership for giving societies, Alumni Council, and other high level volunteer communities.
- Execute marketing communications, including alumni engagement and annual giving email builds, data management support for email marketing and direct mail, and event registration pages.
- Provide event support for leadership giving societies, stewardship events, and special donor engagement opportunities.
- Provide front-line customer service for alumni engagement and annual giving.
- Support inventory management, event materials, and day-of staffing logistics.
