Responsibilities include the following.
- Primary responsibility is third party software maintenance, administration, support and customer service.
- Work with vendor support personnel to resolve application issues.
- Work with other Information Technology staff to implement and maintain 3rd party software.
- Provide technical support over the phone and face-to-face
- Assist in testing and integrating 3rd party applications with the college ERP.
- Document third party application processes and procedures.
- Assist with software maintenance and activities.
- Assist in training college staff on installed software.
- Become familiar with available help resources
- Stay updated on campus technology changes.
- Direct calls to appropriate MVCC staff as necessary.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree. Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience working in an end-user computing environment, and experience with PC and/or Apple Mac microcomputers required. Please be sure to include this in your resume and provide complete application materials.

- Above average communication skills, and professional demeanor
- Ability to work responsibly with or without direct supervision
- Demonstrated analytical ability to logically approach problems

This is a primarily on-site position. Alternative hybrid work schedule/remote opportunities may be available as applicable after probationary period. On call 24 hours a day – 7 days a week for emergencies. Employees must be a resident of IL/IN or reciprocal state..
