Description of Job Function
- Serves as a member of the School's academic leadership team.
- Provides learning leadership and supervision of part-time faculty, in collaboration with the Dean, Associate Dean(s), and Chair(s).
- Analyzes course success data for part-time faculty and uses insights to provide instructional support.
- Uses observations, evaluations, course success data, and student feedback to create individualized learning plans for part-time faculty; incorporates constructive feedback to promote growth.
- Serves as a point of contact for discipline-specific issues at assigned locations and addresses student concerns.
- Conducts observations of part-time faculty instructional delivery and assessment practices; provides constructive feedback for improvement.
- Works with colleagues across disciplines to strengthen part-time faculty effectiveness.
- Supports adoption and implementation of instructional materials for part-time faculty.
- Manages full-cycle hiring & discipline-specific onboarding for part-time faculty.
- Collaborates with college and academic leadership on part-time faculty course assignment based on enrollment trends and targets, ensuring alignment with the college's strategic enrollment management plan.
- At the direction of college leadership and in partnership with academic leadership, analyzes student success and placement data to inform curricular discussions with transfer institutions and/or industry partners.
- Ensures part-time faculty adheres to compliance, accreditation, and instructional expectations.
- May supervise and/or lead support staff.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Minimum Education
Master's Degree from a regionally accredited institution, or any equivalent combination of related education, training, and/or experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions.
Required Field of Study
Higher Education Leadership/Administration, Organizational Leadership, Public Administration, or a related field.
Other Required Qualifications
Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in higher education leadership or academic administration or related experience developing and/or mentoring colleagues.

- Knowledge of personnel management with the ability to oversee onboarding, assignments, and provide feedback to enhance performance.
- Ability to analyze performance data and provide targeted support to enhance performance.
- Knowledge of professional development strategies with the ability to support performance assessment, provide feedback, and contribute to growth initiatives.
- Ability to support the adoption and implementation of resources and strategies to promote student success and program initiatives.
- Ability to coordinate part-time faculty course assignments to align with enrollment trends, program needs, and institutional goals.
- Ability to assist in supporting the maintenance of program compliance and accreditation standards.
- Ability to assist in addressing concerns, providing information, and supporting resolution efforts in alignment with institutional policies and guidelines.
- Ability to support collaboration across departments and help engage with external partners to meet program goals.

This job primarily operates in a professional office environment. The employee will routinely operate standard office equipment including but not limited to computers, keyboards, mouse, phones, photocopiers, printers, scanners, filing cabinets and fax machines. While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
Typical physical competencies include but are not limited to frequently remaining stationary, moving, reaching, positioning self and occasionally ascending/descending, lifting/moving objects weighing between 5-15 pounds.
