ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Develop, create, edit, and publish engaging multimedia content, including written content, graphics, photographs, videos, and digital assets for various communication platforms.
- Plan and execute content initiatives that support institutional goals, marketing campaigns, community engagement, and audience communication strategies.
- Capture and produce photo and video content for events, programs, initiatives, and other institutional activities using appropriate production techniques and equipment.
- Perform multimedia production activities including scripting, interviewing, recording, editing, post-production, and preparation of content for digital distribution.
- Create and maintain content calendar, publishing schedule, and communication workflows to support timely and consistent messaging.
- Write, edit, and adapt content for different audiences and platforms while ensuring clarity, accuracy, accessibility, and alignment with brand standards.
- Collaborate with departments, stakeholders, and communication teams to identify content opportunities and develop creative storytelling approaches.
- Maintain digital content libraries and organize multimedia assets, ensuring appropriate storage, accessibility, and usage.
- Monitor audience engagement, digital trends, and content performance metrics to support continuous improvement and effectiveness of communication efforts.
- Support social media initiatives by developing content strategies, scheduling posts, engaging audiences, and applying current best practices.
- Assist with graphic design, digital layouts, motion graphics, and other creative elements as needed.
- Maintain awareness of copyright requirements, privacy considerations, accessibility standards, and institutional guidelines related to content creation.
- Support special projects, events, campaigns, livestreams, and other communication initiatives as assigned.
- Performs other duties, tasks, and assignments as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Organizational Communications or a related field required.
- 4 years of directly related experience may be substituted in lieu of the required degree.
- 3 years experience in creating digital content, video production, social media management, or marketing communications required.
Licensing & Certification
- Valid Texas Driver License

Working Conditions
General Office. Must be able to perform all job requirements with or without reasonable accommodations; remain in a stationary position during shift; move items weighing up to 25 pounds; position self to operate job equipment; apply established protocols in a timely manner. Must access, input and retrieve information from technology devices; communicate with others to accomplish job requirements. May be required to work after hours to include weekends and holidays.
