Abraham Pizam is a distinguished professor in Business & Economics at the University of Central Florida's Rosen College of Hospitality Management, where he serves as Professor Emeritus and Linda Chapin Eminent Scholar Chair in Tourism Management. He earned his Ph.D. in Business Administration from Cornell University, M.P.A. in Public Administration from New York University, and B.A. in Sociology and Political Science from the Hebrew University. As the founding dean of the Rosen College of Hospitality Management from 2000 to 2018, Pizam established and led the institution to prominence in hospitality education. His extensive career includes academic positions in Austria, Australia, France, Israel, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore, Slovakia, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States, reflecting his global influence in the field.
Professor Pizam specializes in hospitality and tourism management, with a prolific research output exceeding 250 publications, including 180 scientific papers and ten books.
