Alan Saunder serves as Adjunct Senior Lecturer in the Department of Surgery, Monash Health, School of Clinical Sciences at Monash Health, Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences, Monash University. Qualified with MBBS and FRACS, he holds the position of Unit Head and Unit Supervisor for the Vascular and Transplantation Surgery unit at Monash Health. His academic and clinical career focuses on surgical practice and research within vascular and transplant domains at Monash Medical Centre and associated facilities. Saunder contributes to postgraduate surgical training through the department's teaching, skills training, and audit activities.
