Always patient and willing to help.
Beth Chisholm serves as Project Manager in the Campus Development Division at the University of Otago. With nearly ten years of service at the institution in diverse roles spanning various divisions, she joined Campus Development in 2017 as Project Coordinator for the Dunedin School of Dentistry Redevelopment. In her present capacity, she supports the execution of the division's portfolio of projects and leads the Aquinas College Extension within the Combined Colleges Programme.
As Assistant Project Manager, she contributed to the Faculty of Dentistry's Graeme and Robyn Hart Building in Auckland, a $28.2 million development comprising a 32-chair dental teaching facility and patient clinic adjacent to the Manukau Super Clinic on Great South Road. Completed under budget and ahead of programme, it addresses elevated health demands in South Auckland while providing clinical training for fifth-year students, earning a merit award at the 2020 Property Council New Zealand Rider Levett Bucknall Property Industry Awards. Beth Chisholm also took part in the university's social impact leave trial, volunteering at Orokonui Ecosanctuary to clear obstructed tracks, noting that such team activities enhance interpersonal relationships among staff. Furthermore, in 2025, she aided the transfer of documents and staff from the Clocktower to the refurbished Consumer and Applied Sciences Building, promoting wider accessibility to the Clocktower. Her property management acumen has earned her a position on the Otago Girls' High School Board.
