Debra Adair is an Adjunct Professor in the Biological Sciences department at SUNY Ulster, located at the Stone Ridge Campus in HAR 225. She can be contacted by phone at 845-687-5231. Adair earned her BS in Biology from the University of New Mexico in 1993, MS in Biology from Northern Arizona University in 1999, and Ph.D. in Medical Microbiology from Warsaw Medical University in 2005. At SUNY Ulster, she teaches a range of courses including Microbiology, Anatomy and Physiology, Pathophysiology, General Biology, and Human Biology. Her teaching focuses on foundational and applied aspects of biological sciences, drawing from her extensive background in microbiology.
Debra Adair's primary areas of expertise are Microbiology and Molecular Genetics. Her research contributions include studies on infectious diseases, particularly hepatitis C virus interactions with HIV and bacterial pathogens.
