Lee Jia Jia is an Assistant Lecturer in the School of Pharmacy at Monash University Malaysia, having joined in July 2023. Prior to this, she served as a clinical lecturer at SEGi University Faculty of Pharmacy, coordinating and precepting final-year pharmacy students for placements in community, hospital, and clinical pharmacy settings across private and public healthcare facilities under the Ministry of Health Malaysia. She supervised student-led national public health campaigns and the Pledge of Professionalism. Jia Jia holds a Master of Clinical Pharmacy from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and a Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours) from International Medical University. Her professional journey began as a provisionally registered pharmacist at a tertiary public hospital in Selangor, followed by two years in primary healthcare with the Ministry of Health Malaysia. She is fully registered with the Pharmacy Board Malaysia and a member of the Malaysian Pharmacists Society.
Her academic interests center on public health, health policy, clinical pharmacy, geriatric care, and digital health. In 2023, she received the Clinical Pharmacy & Pharmacy Education Research Grant from the School Research Grant program. Notable publications include 'The role of bevacizumab on tumour angiogenesis and in the management of gynaecological cancers: A review' (Biomedicine & Pharmacotherapy, 2018), 'Assessment on knowledge, attitude, practice and concern of public in hospital Tapah regarding COVID-19 vaccine' (Journal of Health Management, 2024), 'Breastfeeding-Friendly Community Pharmacists to Support Mothers for Successful Lactation and Combating Anxiety and Depression: A Protocol of Pilot-Testing Study in Malaysia' (2024), and 'The business and psychological impact of coronavirus (COVID-19) towards community pharmacy in Malaysia' (2024). She leads the project 'Boosting culturally appropriate medication management for older people in the Indo-Pacific' (2025). Lee Jia Jia engages in public outreach, including medication management in aged care centers with the Malaysian Pharmacists Society and stroke awareness workshops with the National Stroke Association Malaysia. She spoke at the Congress of the Federation of Asian Pharmaceutical Associations (2024), organized a safe medication disposal workshop, and hosted a forum on dietary supplements.
