Dr. Kaiyang (Colin) Sun serves as a Lecturer in the Department of Management at the University of Adelaide, contributing to the Business & Economics faculty through his expertise in international business, entrepreneurship, and management. He holds a PhD from Monash Business School (2021-2024), where his doctoral thesis, "Familiness, Entrepreneurial Orientation, and Family SME Performance," explored key dynamics in family small and medium-sized enterprises. Prior to this, he completed an MPhil at Queensland University of Technology (2018-2020). Notable publications include "International market withdrawal of family-owned multinationals: Socioemotional wealth heterogeneity under uncertainty" in the Journal of International Management (2026, with H.
