Dr Limin Fu serves as a Lecturer (equivalent to Assistant Professor) in the Department of Management within the Faculty of Business and Economics at Monash University’s Business School. Holding a PhD in Management from the University of Adelaide, she previously held a faculty position at the University of Newcastle, earning the Early Career Researcher Award in 2022. Prior to academia, Dr Fu gained practical experience through managerial roles at Fortune 500 companies such as Asus, Generali, and CG Holdings. This background drives her practice-oriented research.
Dr Fu’s scholarship focuses on paradoxes in corporate social responsibility (CSR/ESG) and their implications for business-society relations, integrating sustainability, strategy, international business, and innovation. Her work has been published in prestigious outlets including Research Policy, British Journal of Management, Long Range Planning, and Journal of Cleaner Production. Key publications encompass “How does urban air pollution affect corporate environmental performance?” (2023), “Corporate green initiatives as real circular economy or window-dressing?” (2023), and “The unsung hero towards net zero: the role of community engagement in circular economy capabilities” (2025). Recognized for excellence, she received the Academy of Management (AOM) International Management Division Best Paper Award in International Ethics, Social Responsibility, and Sustainability (2021), Best Reviewer Award (2025), Dean’s Commendation for Doctoral Research Excellence (2017), and commendations for teaching during COVID-19 (2020) and innovative teaching. A Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, Dr Fu teaches Introduction to Management (undergraduate), Strategic Management (MBA), and International Business (postgraduate). Her research aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals 9, 11, and 13, and she engages practitioners via media contributions and collaborations with firms like Ernst & Young.
