Dr. Muhammad Waqas is a Senior Lecturer in Cybersecurity in the School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences at the University of Greenwich, part of the Faculty of Engineering and Science in London, UK. In this role, he heads the V2X Cyber Range Lab, contributes significantly to research outputs, curriculum development, and module leadership particularly in Computer Networks and Computer Forensics. He also maintains an Adjunct Senior Lecturer appointment at Edith Cowan University in Perth, Australia. His career trajectory includes serving as an Assistant Professor at the University of Bahrain, Research Associate at Beijing University of Technology in China, and earlier as a Lecturer in Electrical Engineering at Sarhad University of Science and Information Technology in Peshawar, Pakistan. Waqas obtained his PhD in Information and Communication Engineering from Tsinghua University, China, complemented by MSc and BSc degrees in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Wireless Communication from institutions in Pakistan.
