About Olena
Olena Bokareva serves as senior lecturer at the Department of Law at Lund University. She is also a researcher at the Lund University Centre for Business Law and at EU Law. Her academic background features a dissertation completed in 2015 titled Multimodal Transportation under the Rotterdam Rules: Legal Implications for European Carriage of Goods and the Quest for Uniformity. Research specializations include maritime law, transport law, EU passenger and travel law, multimodal transportation, carbon capture and storage, and decarbonization in the maritime sector. Career history centers on her appointments at Lund University, where she contributes to teaching and research in these areas.
