Dr. Ishanka Rajapaksha Mudiyanselage serves as an Adjunct Associate Lecturer in the School of Health Sciences, College of Health, Medicine and Wellbeing at the University of Newcastle, Australia. She earned her Doctor of Philosophy in Physiotherapy from the University of Newcastle in 2020, with a thesis titled "Characteristics of chronic ankle instability and the role of joint mobilisation." Her earlier degrees include a Master of Philosophy and a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. Additionally, she holds positions as an Associate Professor at the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences in Bergen, Norway, and as an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at the University of Adelaide, Australia. Since 2019, she has worked as a Research Assistant in the School of Health Sciences at the University of Newcastle. Her research specializations encompass ankle sprains, end-user engagement, evidence-based research, intra-professional education, musculoskeletal pain, and systematic reviews. She emphasizes promoting end-user engagement and evidence-based research in medical and health sciences.
