Dr Ross Hollett is a Senior Lecturer and the Course Coordinator of the undergraduate psychology program in the School of Arts and Humanities at Edith Cowan University. He completed a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2009, Honours in Psychology in 2010, and a Doctor of Philosophy in 2015, all at the University of Western Australia. Since joining Edith Cowan University, Dr Hollett has primarily taught research methods and statistics to undergraduate and postgraduate students while engaging in research and research supervision. His research examines how media and marketing influence psychological outcomes and behaviour, employing experimental methods and techniques such as eye tracking, skin conductance, and reaction time tasks. He is a member of the Experimental Psychology Unit at Edith Cowan University. Dr Hollett received the Vice Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching in 2019. He serves on the Editorial Board of the Archives of Sexual Behaviour journal and is a member of the Public Health Association of Australia. His work includes publications on topics such as body image, sexual objectification, gaze behaviour, and the effects of advertising on health behaviours.
