Dr. Wendy Hunt is a Senior Lecturer in Food Science and Nutrition and the Academic Chair of Food Science and Nutrition at Murdoch University, within the School of Medical, Molecular and Forensic Sciences. She also serves as Academic Chair of Postgraduate Food Science. Possessing over 25 years of experience in the field of Food Science, Dr. Hunt's research focuses on grain cereal chemistry, food safety, fibre and health, seafood nutrition, fatty acid composition in dairy products, and the health and wellbeing benefits of recreational fishing and seafood consumption. Her work contributes to understanding nutritional profiles and health impacts of various foods, particularly in Australian contexts.
