Wenhao Wu is an Associate Professor at Jilin University in the Research Center of Palaeontology and Stratigraphy. He holds a PhD and serves as Managing Director of the Research Center. His academic background includes studies at Jilin University in Geology, Paleontology and Stratigraphy from 2006 to 2010. Wu's research focuses on vertebrate paleontology, with expertise in dinosaur faunas, mammalian fossils, and related stratigraphic studies primarily from the Songliao Basin in Northeast China. He has contributed to numerous publications documenting new species and fossil discoveries, including work on iguanodontian dinosaurs, gobiconodontid mammals, maniraptoran eggs, hadrosaurid remains, zalambdalestid mammals, theropod dinosaurs, ceratopsian endocranial morphology, and lepidosteoid scales. Recent contributions include papers in journals such as Nature Ecology & Evolution, Cretaceous Research, Acta Palaeontologica Polonica, Historical Biology, Palaeoworld, and Acta Geologica Sinica (English Edition).
