Betty Williams

Elizabeth Williams, also known as Betty Williams, was a Northern Irish peace activist. She received the 1976 Nobel Peace Prize for her courageous efforts in founding a movement to put an end to the violent conflict in Northern Ireland. She co-founded the Community of Peace People.
