Professional bio
Dorothy Crowfoot Hodgkin was a British chemist. She was awarded the 1964 Nobel Prize in Chemistry for her determinations by X-ray techniques of the structures of important biochemical substances, including penicillin and vitamin B12. Her work advanced the field of X-ray crystallography.
