Ferid Murad

Ferid Murad is an American physician and pharmacologist. He received the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 1998 for discoveries concerning nitric oxide as a signalling molecule in the cardiovascular system. He was affiliated with the University of Texas Medical School at Houston.
