Louis J. Ignarro

Louis J. Ignarro is an American pharmacologist. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 1998 for discoveries concerning nitric oxide as a signalling molecule in the cardiovascular system. His research helped establish the role of nitric oxide in vascular regulation.
