Max Delbrück

Max Delbrück was a biophysicist born in 1906. He shared the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 1969 for discoveries concerning the replication mechanism and the genetic structure of viruses. He was affiliated with the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) in the USA when awarded.
