Professional bio
Richard Stone was a British economist. He was awarded the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences in 1984 for fundamental contributions to the development of systems of national accounts and hence greatly improved the basis for empirical economic analysis. He was affiliated with the University of Cambridge.
