Yoichiro Nambu

Yoichiro Nambu was a Japanese-born American theoretical physicist affiliated with the Enrico Fermi Institute at the University of Chicago. He shared the 2008 Nobel Prize in Physics for the discovery of the mechanism of spontaneous broken symmetry in subatomic physics.
