Duties & Responsibilities Provide technical support to faculty, staff, and designated campus colleagues, addressing issues with applications, hardware, and network connectivity. Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems, escalating complex issues as needed. Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and related peripherals. Assist with software installations, updates, and license tracking. Support user administration and permissions for enterprise systems such as Microsoft 365 and Active Directory. Manage organizational units (OUs) in Active Directory under supervision. Troubleshoot and support the campus network to ensure user connectivity and access. Provide training and guidance to users on best practices for secure and effective technology use. Troubleshoot network and local printers, local IP desk phone issues. Maintain documentation of service requests, issue resolutions, and hardware/software. Collaborate with other IT teams to coordinate system updates, deployments, and new technology rollouts. Assist in implementing and maintaining IT security policies, anti-virus tools, and user access controls. Stay informed of current technology trends and recommend improvements where appropriate. Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Working knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and endpoint management tools. Knowledge of networking fundamentals and troubleshooting practices. Ability to deliver excellent customer service and communicate effectively with users and technical teams.
