It consists of three main research areas that are intertwined in a comparative perspective:

Eligibility criteria
The Examination Board shall express a judgement of qualification on each applicant for the purpose of assigning the positions considering the specific skills, experiences and aptitudes of the applicants, as well as the profile sought of and indicated in the PhD Form

Eligibility of fellows: country/ies of residence: EUROPE
Eligibility of fellows: nationality/ies: EUROPE
Selection process
Evaluation of the qualifications and the research project submitted by the applicants. Written test and/or interview: the applicants who pass the first stage shall be admitted to a written test and/or an interview. These tests imply that the applicants discuss the submitted project and aim at verifying the applicant’s aptitude for research, as well as their general preparation on the topics of concern of the PhD course and the chosen restricted topic. At the end of the interview, applicants shall be tested for their knowledge of English (or Italian for those taking the interview in English) where the applicants shall be asked to orally translate a short written text proposed by the Board.
