- Conduct leading and internationally recognized research in the field of specialization.
- Teach undergraduate courses and graduate courses in both Japanese and English (Undergraduate courses include Calculus, Set Theory and General Topology, Differential Equations, Functional Analysis, Complex Analysis, Vector Calculus, Lebesgue Integration, Discrete Mathematics, etc.).
- Supervise graduate and undergraduate students.
- Contribute to the administration of the School of Computing and the university.
- The successful candidate will engage in activities within one of the eight Visionary Initiatives (VIs), which serve as interdisciplinary research hubs.
